No-Dachi units have a bigger charger, less armor. So they have a bigger oompf but don't last as well in prolonged combat. Nodachi also counter katanas. Archers run down nodachi pretty well since they have like 2 armor. Katanas mow down archers.I would personally go with Shogun 2, one of the best imho total war. -It's one of the most immersive total war considering the ui, soundtrack, game mechanics,polish and quality level. -Battles generally don't feel weird or too fast , or too slow, or too unbalanced. -Graphics are very very nice even for a 2011 game.
